Promwad company attended IPTV World forum exhibition, conference, held in London at 25-27 March 09. Interactive television - the main topic of this exhibition. The event was dedicated to solve main strategic issues of telecommunications companies, that are providing services TV-content broadcast via IP-protocol (IPTV) in Europe.
More than 200 exhibitors showed their products on the exhibition this year. IPTV World forum has been represented by range of companies in IPTV related businesses, including service and content providers, product and solution suppliers from content servers and networks to end user STBs and underlaying technology vendors, development services and quality assurance suppliers.
This exhibition together with conference are part of IPTV ecosystem, which consists of TVOverNet, IP Cable, Mobile TV, Networked Home and supplemented with new growing segments of a market: Hybrid IPTV, IP networks, On Demand.
Our representative in the UK, Eugene Leigh, participated in the exhibition. By his view the clue of the event this year was technical symposium, held together with the Open IPTV-initiative, aimed to create "end-to-end" specifications for IPTV and bring next-generation products to mass market.
It would be unfair not to admit IPTV market first Whole-Home DVR from Entone company, USA, enabled with simultaneous recording and playback multistream media content.
During IPTV World Forum 2009 Promwad company held a series of meetings and negotiations with representatives of companies-vendors, suppliers and manufacturers of digital prefixes and supporting equipment for IPTV industry. |
