We are looking for a Network and Firewall Software Developer to join our team.
Our telecom engineering team designs hardware and develops software for new networking devices: WiFi routers, switches, VoIP devices, data storages, etc. The results of their work are embodied in mass-produced devices and programmes for home, office and large-scale industrial applications worldwide.
Promwad works with telecom equipment manufacturers, integrators, and operators to develop commercially successful network solutions for faster and more accessible broadband Internet. So, if you join our telecom team, you can become a guru in this industry as an engineer or a tech lead / manager.

What you will do
- Consulting with internal stakeholders to define the scope of software development initiatives.Â
- Creating software and supervising application deployment across platforms.
- Diagnosing and debugging processes.
- Maintaining, updating, and upgrading to optimize software.Â
- Maintaining software development records and documenting procedures.Â
What we would like to see in you
- Programming languages: C or C++.
- Knowledge of Python sufficient for writing auto-tests.
- Knowledge of networks, understanding of TCP/UDP features, traffic shaping.
- Good experience with one or more of fast path implementations - DPDK, eBPF, XDP.
- Experience in developing applications for Linux.
- Experience in developing/debugging/optimizing multithreaded programs.
- Experience with the Linux kernel network stack.
- Operating systems: Linux.
- English: upper intermediate.
Will be a plus:
- Network technologies: DPDK, SNMP, Ethernet, PoE, PPTP, PPPoE, DHCP, VPN protocol, VLAN, QoS, IGMP, profiling network protocols using Wireshark.
