Engineering cartoons: a song of QA & development teams
There are many methods and tools for software testing, such as Testpad, PractiTest, QTest, Zephyr, Testrail, Test Collab, and others.
For example, we at Promwad use TestLink, a web-based test management system for software development teams and QA engineers.
TestLink is an open-code project, it successfully integrates with popular bug tracking systems (JIRA, Mantis, Bugzilla, Redmine, and others) and has all necessary features to ensure the quality of new software builds:
- support for test cases, suites, plans, and projects;
- creation and description of the requirements for test cases and plans, with versioning and revisioning;
- user management, including roles and assignments;
- creation of the test reports, charts and monitors.
The initial version of TestLink was released 15 years ago when Promwad team worked on its first projects for the electronics market. Since then, we have completed hundreds of projects in the field of embedded software development for our customers to ensure their competitiveness in growing markets.
