AHB - Advanced high-performance bus
AMBA High-performance Bus. This is the second version of the bus protocol developed by ARM Ltd company for use in “System-On-Chip” (SoC) systems.
The Promwad team provides services for the project development following modern requirements for devices of the "system-on-chip" class.
This bus supports devices with built-in wide-format memory (from 64 to 1024 bits) and combines high-speed modules.
It also provides the operation of devices, which use high clock frequencies. The transaction is carried out in only two cycles: addressing and data phases (no standby)
AHB-Lite is one more type of this bus. It is a subset of AHB officially defined in AMBA 3.
