Problem

Our client needed a video conferencing solution that could deliver picture-in-picture functionality across heterogeneous endpoints — smart TVs (Tizen, WebOS), Android STBs, desktops, and mobile — without fragmenting the codebase.

Solution

Promwad designed and built a cross-platform WebRTC application using Kurento media server for multi-room conferencing, GStreamer for codec pipelines, and a DIAL-based mobile companion app that turns any iOS or Android device into a camera source with smart TV as the display output.
