
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer at Middle+ / Senior level who can independently take mechanical components and subsystems from concept through design, testing, and production, working closely with electronics and industrial design teams.
Location: Poznań / Niš

What you will do
- Design mechanical parts, assemblies, and subsystems using 3D CAD (SolidWorks).
- Develop products from concept to production-ready design.
- Create and maintain engineering documentation: drawings, BOMs, assembly and test documentation, engineering changes.
- Work with GD&T, tolerance analysis, and tolerance stack-ups.
- Select materials and manufacturing processes with consideration for performance, cost, reliability, and manufacturability.
- Apply DFM / DFA principles.
- Work with static and/or dynamic mechanical systems.
- Conduct and interpret FEA simulation results where required.
- Participate in DFMEA and risk assessment.
- Translate product/system requirements into mechanical requirements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams, suppliers, quality, and other stakeholders.
- Take ownership of the mechanical scope from concept through release, verification, and production support.
- Make independent technical decisions and balance performance, cost, manufacturability, reliability, and schedule.
What we would like to see in you
- Strong hands-on experience with 3D CAD and mechanical design.
- Experience developing real physical products that have reached manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
- Practical experience with manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal, injection molding.
- Good knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, DFM / DFA.
- Ability to conduct and interpret FEA simulations.
- Ability to perform engineering hand calculations and make data-driven design decisions.
- Experience with DFMEA / risk analysis.
- Understanding of verification & validation principles.
- Experience creating production-ready engineering documentation.
- Strong ownership and ability to independently drive mechanical tasks to completion.
- Good cross-functional communication skills.
Will be a plus:
- Experience with electro-mechanical integration or dynamic mechanisms.
- Experience with CFD / dynamic simulation or optical-mechanical design.
- Experience with NPI, production ramp-up, and cost optimization.
- Experience with casting, forming, or other manufacturing technologies.
