  • Design mechanical parts, assemblies, and subsystems using 3D CAD (SolidWorks)
  • Develop products from concept to production-ready design
  • Create and maintain engineering documentation: drawings, BOMs, assembly and test documentation, engineering changes
  • Work with GD&T, tolerance analysis, and tolerance stack-ups
  • Select materials and manufacturing processes with consideration for performance, cost, reliability, and manufacturability
  • Apply DFM / DFA principles.
  • Work with static and/or dynamic mechanical systems.
  • Conduct and interpret FEA simulation results where required.
  • Participate in DFMEA and risk assessment
  • Translate product/system requirements into mechanical requirements.

  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams, suppliers, quality, and other stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of the mechanical scope from concept through release, verification, and production support
  • Make independent technical decisions and balance performance, cost, manufacturability, reliability, and schedule

What we would like to see in you

  • Strong hands-on experience with 3D CAD and mechanical design.
  • Experience developing real physical products that have reached manufacturing, assembly, and testing.
  • Practical experience with manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal, injection molding
  • Good knowledge of GD&T, tolerance analysis, DFM / DFA.
  • Ability to conduct and interpret FEA simulations
