What you will do
- Perform different types of testing: Smoke, Regression, Functional,Unit, Integration, System
- Develop and maintain test documentation and test cases
- Develop and automate tests (including hardware testing)
- Validate firmware on real devices and test benches
- Analyze logs, reproduce and investigate bugs
- Work with hardware and debugging tools
- Participate in developing and maintaining test setups (HIL)
- Collaborate with firmware and hardware teams
What we would like to see in you
- 3+ years of experience in embedded systems / firmware testing
- Knowledge of microcontroller architectures (ARM, STM32, ESP)
- Experience with communication interfaces and peripherals: UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO, CAN
- Knowledge of wireless and networking technologies: BLE, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Modbus
- Knowledge of sensors, actuators, ADC/DAC
- Scripting skills (Python / Shell)
- Experience reading and understanding C / C++ code
- Knowledge of automating hardware tests
- Knowledge of Multimeter, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, Git / SVN
- Knowledge of Linux / Embedded Linux
- Understanding of: threads, timers, interrupts
- Ability to read schematics and datasheets
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinkin
Will be a plus:
- Experience with FPGA / SoC
- Knowledge of Rust, Assembly
- Experience with: Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), Stress / Performance / Power Cycling testing
- Experience with: JTAG / SWD debugging, emulators, CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Experience with protocol analyzers
- Experience with RTOS: FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX
- Understanding of power consumption optimization
