Promwad at IBC 2025: From Cutting-Edge Demos to New Partnerships

Promwad at IBC 2025

Amsterdam once again became the epicenter of innovation in broadcasting and media technologies, and Promwad was proud to take part in IBC 2025 — Europe’s largest media technology show. For us, it was more than just an exhibition: it was a chance to showcase our engineering capabilities, strengthen partnerships, and exchange ideas about the future of media and broadcasting.

Showcased Solutions

At our booth in the German Pavilion, we presented two highlights:

FMC Modular Memory Cards for FPGA Systems — a customizable line of CFexpress, NVMe, and UFS storage cards designed for demanding tasks such as live video ingest, high-performance playback, and real-time data processing. These solutions unlock new opportunities for embedded vision and edge AI applications.

Edge AI Photo Lab — an interactive demo zone where artificial intelligence instantly created a portrait of each guest and printed it directly on a beer bottle. A fun way to illustrate how edge AI can transform user experience and engagement.

We also presented a software solution — OneClick Streamer, a cross-platform mobile app that turns any smartphone into a live contribution tool. With built-in noise reduction, it ensures clear speech even in noisy environments, while RTMP integration feeds streams directly into NRCS, playout, and MAM systems.

With OneClick Streamer app, going live takes only a few seconds, which extends newsroom capabilities, reduces the need for heavy field equipment and training, and enables thousands of contributors to deliver real-time content. So broadcasters can scale field reporting and keep audiences engaged with high-quality live coverage.

Engineering Expertise for Media & Broadcasting

IBC visitors also had a chance to learn how Promwad supports product companies in bringing hardware and software solutions from concept to mass production. Our expertise covers:

  • Broadcasting — FPGA-based video/audio processing, OpenGear platforms, ST 2110 / NMOS integration, NDI workflows, AI-powered analytics, and low-latency IP transport.
  • Pro AV — IPMX-based video distribution, hybrid SDI/IP workflows, AI-powered interactivity, Crestron + Dante integration, and cross-platform AV applications.
  • OTT Platforms — backend and workflow for content delivery, AI-driven personalization, ad insertion and monetization, and seamless multi-device delivery.
  • UI/UX for AV & OTT Devices — custom Smart TV apps, STB interfaces, cross-platform UX, and branded user experiences.
  • CTV & STB Solutions — Android TV & AOSP development, middleware, DRM integration, and UI/UX customization.

With this end-to-end expertise, we help our clients design and launch innovative solutions that meet the evolving demands of the media tech market.

Industry Connections and Insights

IBC 2025 also gave us the chance to meet with partners and innovators including Angelbird Technologies, Grass Valley, Vizrt, AMD, ARRI, LYNX Technik, NativeWaves, BirdDog, and many more. These conversations were filled with fresh perspectives — from the rise of cloud-based workflows to personalized broadcasting and the growing role of AI at the edge.

Such exchanges are a powerful reminder of how fast the industry is evolving — and how crucial engineering partnerships are in keeping up with it.

Building on Last Year’s Momentum

This was our second year in a row with a dedicated booth at IBC. In 2024, we showcased AI-driven solutions such as a gesture-controlled football game, a shoppable video application, and a one-click mobile streaming app — all designed to demonstrate how artificial intelligence and FPGA technologies can transform media experiences.

By adding this year’s focus on edge AI and high-performance FPGA storage, we’ve shown the continuity of our vision: combining advanced engineering with creativity to help product companies bring innovation to life.

Looking Ahead

IBC 2025 was an inspiring journey full of ideas, partnerships, and opportunities. We’re heading home with renewed energy to support our clients in shaping the next generation of broadcasting and media solutions.
