FRAM

Ferroelectric RAM. FRAM is a type of non-volatile RAM with the core made of ferroelectric crystals, which in their turn provide the possibility for non-volatile data storage.

Its main advantages are low power usage, quick data write speed and enormous quantity of write-erase cycles. FRAM technology is applied in many devices and applications around the world – from office templets and high-performance servers to board recorders and entertainment devices. FRAM is supposed to supplant such memory types as NAND, DDR and Flash.
