СElebrating 18 Years: How We Built an International Company to Take Care of Your Hardware and Software Products

We are turning 18! In many countries, this date is considered adulthood: people acquire rights and — what is most important — responsibility for their actions. For us, this responsibility means the commitment to our values, which we share with our European and American customers. All these years, we've worked hard to take on sophisticated engineering tasks, taking care of our customers and covering all their needs in these challenging times.

Today, Promwad is a truly international company that designs mass-produced electronics and develops software for our customers worldwide to help them take their business to the next level with cutting-edge technologies and components.

​​Back in 2014 (ten years after the company was founded), we started transferring our business portfolio to the EU. We have been doing this step by step: 

• Focused on working with EU, Canadian and US clients

• Opened an office in Vilnius, Lithuania, which eventually became our headquarters.

• Opened a development center in Daugavpils, Latvia.

• Opened a delivery office in Essen, Germany, to support our clients in the DACH region.

• Invited our engineers to work from distributed offices in Serbia, Latvia, and Georgia.

• Polished the processes and set up the infrastructure for efficient operation of our distributed team.

• Maintained our proactive and responsible attitude: as you might know, we do not stand aside from important events, support social projects, and value our reputation.
