We are looking for a Firmware Engineer (Power Meter / Power Quality) to join our team. Our industrial automation team develops hardware and software for control systems, mobile robots, and industrial power solutions, integrating the latest technologies to meet industry demands. What you will do:

  • Develop and debug firmware for microcontrollers running under RTOS
  • Implement communication protocols (DLMS/COSEM, M-Bus, Wireless M-Bus, PLC)
  • Integrate firmware with energy measurement hardware
  • Work with international standards, including IEC 61850
  • Test and optimize firmware performance
  • Maintain and support existing the codebase

What we would like to see in you:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in firmware development for embedded systems
  • Experience with embedded systems based on RTOS
  • Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with communication protocols:
    • DLMS/COSEM
    • M-Bus / Wireless M-Bus
    • Power Line Communication (PLC)
    • IEC 61850
  • Good understanding of microcontroller architecture and peripherals
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and work with technical documentation and international standards
  • Experience in writing device drivers and working with low-level hardware interfaces 

 

Will be a plus:

  • Experience in projects requiring certification or compliance with standards
  • Understanding of power quality principles and electrical energy measurement
  • Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and test benches
