Promwad Guides Eastern European Clients for Lattice as a FAE Partner

Promwad has become a field application engineer (FAE) service partner of Lattice Semiconductor, a world leader in low-power programmable logic devices. This partnership will strengthen support for Lattice's Eastern European clients by providing them with qualified technical assistance from Promwad engineers.

The FAE model makes Promwad specialists a key resource for clients who purchase Lattice FPGAs and other solutions, acting as a link between a client and Lattice technologies.

The Lattice clients often need guidance on how to implement a specific architecture, how to implement a chip effectively, and how to understand the intellectual property solutions available. And this is when our engineers come on the scene.

Promwad engineers' support helps to find the best tech solutions for various application areas, facilitate the right technical decisions and steer projects towards successful implementation.

When customers request Lattice FPGAs, they are directed to Promwad's field application engineers for guidance on architecture, application and implementation details. Collaboration can begin even before the component is ordered when FAE helps to decide on a specific family or model to implement the customer's idea.

Unlike typical in-house FAEs, Promwad's team works closely with both Lattice and the customer, providing hands-on support and technical translation to help efficiently integrate Lattice FPGAs.

Lattice selected two of Promwad's engineers for their FAE, bringing deep technical knowledge and fresh perspectives. These experts, selected for their ability to approach the technology from the application side, have actively contributed to Lattice projects.

Alexandr Geraschenko FPGA design engineer with 15+ years of working experience. Alexandr specialised in digital logic design, simulation and verification algorithms in Verilog, VHDL, and MATLAB.	Petr Shamsheyeu Firmware developer with 5 years' experience. He has been involved in developing critical safety systems for the automotive, medical, and aerospace industries.

One of the unique aspects of this partnership is its focus on the Eastern European market. Promwad’s FAEs have been selected specifically to serve this region, providing clear communication and localised client support. This regional focus allows for a better understanding of the specific challenges companies face in these areas and the potential for improved technical guidance during the design phase.

The model is also designed to be scalable. While Promwad's FAEs are the customers' primary point of contact, they work closely with Lattice's internal engineering team. When complex questions arise, Promwad's FAEs can refer them directly to Lattice engineers, ensuring the most comprehensive support throughout the design process.

This FAE partnership became possible thanks to Promwad's position as a trusted European design house with deep local market expertise. The terms of the contract guarantee that the two selected FAEs will work exclusively with Lattice customers.
