What you will do
- Design and development of 4G/5G and NB-IOT SW on the base station.
- DSP implementation in C\C++ of wireless communication algorithms.
- Cooperation/Communication with other teams (ASIC, Platform Integration, System Test and IOT teams).
- Fixing defects and updating analysis results in the defect tracking system.
- Drive/Participate system-level analysis across teams to analyse complex issues.
- Proactively support customer issues and resolve same.

What we would like to see in you
- Experience in algorithm design and optimisation for embedded applications, complexity analysis and mapping to vector signal processors, memory requirements, real-time vs non-real-time requirements, etc.
- Experience with C/C++ and/or Python for algorithm development, modelling (floating-point and fixed-point) and link-level simulation.
- English (Intermediate and higher).
Will be a plus:
- Experience with Matlab
- In-depth knowledge of wireless communication systems with hands-on experience in lab testing & characterization.
- Deep knowledge of communication system theory and signal processing to design algorithms related to channel state feedback, digital precoding and analogue beamforming, channel estimation, interference mitigation, MIMO detection, multi-user MIMO, timing and frequency recovery, automatic gain control, RF impairments estimation and correction, forward-error correction, OFDM, etc.
- Experience in chip bring-up, including lab equipment such as protocol test equipment, spectrum analysers, signal generators, power meters, etc.

- Knowledge of cellular communication standards and call flows 5G NR (FR1 and FR2), 4G LTE, link adaptation, and channel state information feedback.
