Join Test Action Group. Interface of microchip electronics used for correcting errors, debugging and monitoring of processor’s work in some device, and also for testing sub-blocks of integrated circuits. For connection with circuit JTAG uses synchronous serial bus, and the connection itself is named test access port (TAP). This protocol enables a developer to access on-chip debugging module which allows debugging software of an embedded system.
