Platform-based design is a technology for creating microprocessor-based architecture that later can be applied for rapid development and verification of system-on-chip designs. PBD is used for rapid projecting, extension and modification of existing microprocessor architecture for a wide range of applications and its quick deployment at customer side.
Printed Circuit Board. The board made of dielectric (textolite, turbonit, etc.), on which at least one conducting drawing is formed. Electronic components are mounted on printed circuit board and are connected by their leads with elements of conducting drawing by means of soldering, and as a result of this, a ready electronic module is assembled.
Peripheral Component Interconnect. System bus interaction with which is made without CPU participation. PCI bus standard defines: physical parameters (for example connectors and layout of signal lines); electric parameters (for example voltage); logical model (for example, bus cycle types, bus addressing).
Practical Extraction and Report Language. Perl is a general-purpose, freely distributed, interpreted programming language for working and modifying texts, files, processes. It was developed by Larry Wall in 1986 as a practical language. It is available for a wide range of platforms and is suitable for most system management tasks.
Programmable Logic Device is an electronic component used for creating digital circuits. The framework of a PLD is a logical matrix responsible for logical sum of productions. PLD doesn’t have any certain function at the moment of production, and before using it in a digital circuit, it must be programmed.
Python is an interpreted, object-oriented, high-level programming language with dynamic semantics. Its embedded high-level data structures in conjunction with dynamic typification and binding make it one of the best means for rapid application development (RAD).
PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor. PHP is a reflective, interpreted, multiplatform, server-side programming language used for creating web-applications. It is most often used for creating server-side scripts executed by server before page is displayed in a browser. It is also used in command-line interface and graphical applications.
