We offered consulting services to a company that develops TV portals, and provided the customer with all the necessary information on the design of a multi-channel reception system based on DVB-T2 technologies.

R&D center Vektor commissioned Promwad to develop special software for a simulator to generate, transmit and receive high-precision ephemeris time data via DVB-T2.

The designed system uses a ready-made network of television towers as base stations to calculate navigational corrections and transmit them over the air. The software helps test simulators in different modes of operation to ensure required values for communication range, data transmission speed and delay.

We completed more than 2000 tests to help our customer choose the best WiFi adapter for his new IPTV set-top box and increase user value of the final product.

The system is based on a custom Linux distribution with a partial basic functionality supporting operations with multimedia data.

Development of an analog telephone adapter (ATA) used voice signal transmission through IP networks.

Before the start of the project, the element base was selected and optimized for the device. Creating and optimizing a bill of materials (BOM) helped minimize the mass production costs.

The ADSP-BF527 Blackfin by Analog Devices was selected as the CPU for the project.

Testing and localization of the ebook reading device. The project was implemented on the basis of an existing device of South Korean production (but with limited functionality and poor quality software). Our task was to upgrade the device and create a competitive product.

Our tasks was to analyze the possibilities of developing a game machine with the resolution of 1600Ñ…1200 pixels and the vertical-repetition frequency of 60Hz. The video data shall be generated from four layers by the superposition method on the basis of transparency channel in every layer.

Commissioned by the European company producing optical systems, we have developed software and hardware platform for the high-definition video capturing system. The device consists of several controlled light sources and 2 cameras. Recorded video is sent to a computer for analysis and processing.

We were commissioned by a supplier of electronic security systems to develop a voice fire notification system with evacuation control. In standard mode, the device broadcasts background music and voice messages from the microphone console. The system features digital sound transmission and integrity control of unit connections.
